The Briggs High School bowling team boasts six returning seniors, each expected to make a significant impact on the team's performance:

Peyton Brobst, Kaleb Brown, AJ Motley, Tanner Bowman, Tyree Valentine, and Victor Gavina.

These seasoned seniors are set to lead the team to success.

Season Goals

The foundation of the Briggs High School bowling team is to have fun. They firmly believe that good things happen when you're enjoying yourself. Their primary objectives include:

-Returning to the Columbus City Schools finals tournament

-Competing in the Conference championship tournament

These goals reflect their passion for the sport and their desire to excel in their conference.

Competitive Schedule and District Rivalry

The team's schedule is a mix of opponents from the Columbus City League, academy schools, and schools from the Central Ohio Catholic Diocese. Every match they play contributes to their seeding for the Columbus City Schools final tournament. The team considers all matches challenging because they not only compete against the team in front of them but against the entire district. They strive to be at their best in every match.

Team Unity and Motivation

The Briggs High School bowling team emphasizes open communication, not just during matches but also in every practice. They do not follow specific rituals but demand that all bowlers communicate, help one another, and most importantly, have a great time. The sense of openness, camaraderie, and humor is what motivates them and helps them stay composed when facing tough situations.

Proud and Passionate Team

The Briggs High School bowling team is described as a fun and jovial group of guys who don't want the season to end. They value team accomplishments more than individual ones and have a deep love for the sport, their team, and the spirit of competition. Their coach is proud of their dedication and passion.

Gratitude to Supporters

The team extends its gratitude to the local pro shop and individuals like Jason, Eric, and Sean, who have provided valuable support and guidance to the young bowlers. They also express their thanks to anonymous donors for their generosity in supplying equipment and gear over the years, which has been instrumental in their achievements.

Briggs High School's bowling team, led by Coach Art Susi, is characterized by its love for the sport, unity, and a strong commitment to success. They are a force to be reckoned with, driven by the desire to have fun and achieve their goals in the world of high school bowling.
