SUA Bulldogs get their first GGCL conference win of the season!

On Tuesday, November 22nd one of the best conference rival matches took place. The St. Ursula Bulldogs took on the Seton Saints at Western Bowl. This is one of the most anticipated match-ups in the GGCL conference.

The Bulldogs came out ready to battle it to the end and the Saints answered right back. The back and forth match went down to the last frame. The Bulldogs were determined and rallied till the very end to come out with a 24 pin victory 2198- 2174! The Bulldogs were led by Junior Payton Beard with a series of 429 (216, 213) and Senior Alli Shattuck with a series of 389 (171, 218).

The JV Bulldogs were able to compete it their first match of the season and they came out ready to bowl! The team comprise of 4 freshman and 1 sophomore left it all on the lanes. They fell short to the Seton Saints 1528- 1233. The JV Bulldogs were led by Freshmen Shelby Luebbering and Jaelyn Phillips with series of 227 and 220, respectfully.

The Varsity Bulldogs enter the holiday break 2-0 and the JV Bulldogs are 0-1. The Bulldogs will be back in action on Thursday, December 1st at 4pm. They will host the Mercy McAuley Wolves at Stone Lanes for their second conference match of the season.
