St. Ursula is headed to Districts: Bulldogs win their Sectional!

The St. Ursula Bulldogs showed up to the Sectional tournament at Crossgate Lanes with one thing in mind— making the top 7 for their ticket to Districts.

The Bulldogs finished the first part of the day with a team total of 2395 for games of 776, 766 and 853. This allowed the Bulldogs to go into bakers after lunch sitting in first place by 70 pins. The team was led by Senior, Alli Shattuck with a 607 series and Junior, Payton Beard with a 551 series.

The Bulldogs fought their way through 6 baker games in a tight battle with 2 other teams. The Bulldogs ended bakers with a total of 905 for an overall total of 3300. The 3300 total was enough to carry the Bulldogs to first place win at Sectionals!

Next step for the Bulldogs is Districts on Friday, March 3 at Beaver-Vu Lanes.
